Premium Thin Birch Plywood - KoskiPly is, without a doubt, regarded worldwide as a premium quality plywood.

Finnish thin birch plywood is known as aircraft plywood. To that end, Koskisen Birch plywood is perfect for a variety of applications.

really good ply

after cutting out some formers for my current project, I can only say how pleased I was with the results. No splitting or de-laminating, because the material is more consistent, I found it easier to get accurate cuts on the jigsaw.

I used the ply in part of the wings for a rebuild of a great planes 1/3 scale Pitts S2.
They provide the centre section of the top wing and the 1st 3 ribs in each of the 4 wings.

Baltic Birch

A bit of an experiment for me to see how it compared with non Baltic Birch. It was a bit flatter, a marginally nicer Finnish and cut realy reliably. Worth it if you don't need to keep costs down but I will probably have to go back to the cheaper stuff for my products. Thanks

Finnish Birch Laser Plywood AB/B grade

Used this material to build a template which required drilling, filing and sanding to high tolerances. Perfect material for this purpose as very consistent grain, easy to shape by hand or machine and does not easily facture and disintegrate even when material is worked down to 2-3mm wide. Thoroughly recommend.

The best Birch Plywood I have come across.

I have been chasing up a Balsa / Ply supplier for some time as to achieve a brilliant finish on a project I need a really good material to start with.
The end of my search was due to finding Balsa Central, I made a small purchase of balsa and birch plywood, my order was received in good time, well packed and to my surprise I found just what I had been looking for, balsa the quality I haven't seen for some years and the birch ply was just the ant's pants, it cuts very well on the bandsaw and stays together when attacking it with my milling machine.
The short and tall of the thing is I have found my new supplier of my favorite woods, recommend these timbers and Balsa Central. I wish I had found them first.
