3mm Airolite 100 x 1220

bought 15 sheets to help start my Bowlus Super Albatross. Just put two sheets on the laser cutter and happy with the results. Nice and light as well which will be used for planking the pod.

I forgot to add - the packaging of the wood was extraordinarily good. Batches of like sheets were labelled clearly and well protected from each other and the outside elements.

Good service and balsa

My last order arrived within a few days and balsa density was as I ordered. I find the staff very easy to deal with and helpful.
Light weight balsa (aerolite) is very difficult to source at hobby shops etc so its nice to be able to get this particularly in the thicker sizes that I use for the tops of my model aircraft.
I have been dealing with Balsa Central for a couple of years. The balsa always arrives very well packed and generally within a week.

I’m currently building a 40% scale model from plans and I think I’m going to be close to the 25kg, “Giant” scale weight so every gram counts. The Aerolite balsa from BC is fantastic. Couldn’t be happier.

Balsa supplies for scratch building.

I have been building from planes for years now and in recent years I have been struggling to get sufficient quantity's, and some of the most common sizes of balsa sheets. I try to go to the local hobby shop (now toy shop) and they have limited supply and blame the supplier for not getting stock, when you go back weeks later the stock has not changed. I was getting sick of this, so looking around I found Balsa Central. They were very helpful on the phone and assisted in setting up registration to receive the club discount. I placed my order on line they had all the sizes I needed and shipped the same day with free delivery within a week, They were packed well and straight. I will be getting my future supplies from Balsa Central rather that doing the toyshop dance again. Thanks for a great service. Regards Mark.

Quality For Future Builds.

I purchased this balsa for future builds, I'm still using my previous supplies at the moment, but, Balsa Central supplied me balsa perfect for my radio controlled aircraft need. I asked for wood a little tougher than Aerolite grade and that is what they supplied. Nothing but praise for Balsa Central's products.
