Great Balsa

I have been dealing with Balsa Central for a number of years and found both their service and quality of their balsa/ply to be extremely good.
Aeromodelling supplies have declined over recent years with many preferring to buy ready made models. Consequently it has become difficult to get a range of sizes especially thicker block. Although I prefer to hand select balsa I have found Balsa Central has been able to accurately supply my requested weight and grain preferences. It arrives beautifully packed and on time.

Great quality, beautifully packed.

The quality of the wood is first class. I use a No 11 scalpel and it is so easy to cut even 5 mm thick wood across the grain. My order was carefully packed and arrived without any damage whatsoever. I will definitely buy it again.

Awesome service!

Package arrived three days earlier than I expected. The packaging was really sturdy and the balsa was in perfect condition inside. The quality of the balsa sheeting was second to none and is some of the straightest and lightest balsa I’ve ever used which is perfect for the precision aerobatic model that I’m building. This is my first order with balsa central and if this experience continues, I won’t have to buy anywhere else again!

Really good stuff,

Birch plywood is great, going to laminate the 3mm to make a firewall. The whole order was carefully packed and arrived quickly. Will be back for more :)
