Balsa Trailing Edges are a specialised shape popular for Aeromodelling applications where it is used to form the trailing edge of wings. The principles of Trailing Edges, or Ailerons, haven’t changed for over a century! Trailing Edges are long Isosceles triangles with one angle at 90 degrees and two other angles that vary depending on the dimensions of the sides.

Width x Height x Length. The width refers to the shortest side and the height to the longer side. Our Trailing edges are cut from harder balsa compared to Leading Edges, making them stronger and more durable.

Micheal, thanks for reviewing the Trailing Edges for us! We use slightly denser material than for the Leading Edges so you receive a sturdier piece of balsa for greater controll and durabillty. Cheers - Peter

Balsa trailing edge

Balsa arrived broken but after an email and some pics money was refunded and new order placed timber arrived intact but their problem resolve was excellent

Wrong size

Im building the Olympic 2 and the trailing edge I received is too big which was my mistake.
Apart from my stuff up all good.

As expected the ply and balsa arrived promptly beautifully packed/protected with no damage. The quality was perfect for my next project and the pre shaped TE made wing construction easy. Thanks.

2nd order

This was my 2nd order from this company like the first order I asked the sheets to be suitable for sheeting which they were. The sheeting was very consistent in quality and the trailing was as well. I will buy from them again also have told my club members how happy I was with the balsa.

Good try but unfortunately damaged

Let's start with a Thank you... Thanks for fulfilling my order in the time you did, during these terrible times...

But sadly the angle hard cardboard did not protect the contents as you would have expected..

Most of the balsa was dinted or hard been damaged during transport... The Spruce was fine....

Great service and decent balsa

The trailing edge is a right angle triangle ie not equilateral but ok. It is softer than I expected and indicated but (hopefully) should be ok

Scratch built a 80 inch stick, didn't want the wavey ailerons or elevator Balsa Central was the only supplier I could find that made the size I needed,quick delivery especially in the middle of the covid problems,thank you again Balsa Central
